Do you know the power of the F.U.?

Well, I keep telling doctors to F.U.

It’s not what you think, but when you learn how and when to Follow Up,
then your practice will surely benefit.

A number of years ago, I had a client of mine experiment with the follow up,
on patients who had not yet made a decision on their care programs.

Their new patient machine was killing it,
but their conversions to care were terrible.

But when they assigned the follow up phone call
to a C.A., one that was made within 24 hours,
they noticed a major bump in their closure rates by 25%.

They were seeing on average 50 new patients per month,
so a 25% increase equalled 12.5 patients with a case average of $2000…

You can do the math. It was a whopping $25,000 increase from 1 phone call.

We recently started experimenting with lead generation follow up,
within our practice…from our Facebook ads, to lead generation optin,
to within a 5 minutes phone call.

The results have been astonishing.

I applied the exact same principles to my coaching and noticed a similar effect,
when doctor inquired about my coaching services.

The initiative for this, came from recent study done by MIT’s Dr. James Oldroyd,
on “Lead Response Generation”.
It was a 3 year study, with 6 companies and over 100,000 lead generation attempts.

They wanted to find the best time of day, which day,
when to follow up with leads and how.

Wednesdays and Thursdays – These days are the best days to call by 49.7%

4:00 To 6:00 PM – Is the best time to call to make contact with a lead

8-9 AM & 4-5 PM – Are the best times to contact a lead to qualify a lead

5 Minutes – The odds of contacting or qualifying a lead outside of 5 minutes decreases significantly by 10 to 20 times in the first 30 to 60 minutes.

So whether you’re getting leads from Facebook,
working with indecisive patients,
following up with leads from talks,
or answering website inquiries to your practice…
